Zurich Gets Probation Service Data In £4.8M Dispute
Law360, London (January 8, 2019, 8:07 PM GMT) -- British probation authorities must disclose information to Zurich Insurance PLC about an alleged “shadow director” of a waste management company that has sued the Swiss insurance giant for £4.8 million ($6.1 million), a London court has ordered.
High Court Judge Clare Mouler has told HM Prison and Probation Service to hand over emails and notes of phone calls about Shaun Morfitt, who was jailed for malicious wounding in 2010 following a “frenzied attack” with a 16-inch machete.
