Trio Fight Extradition To Sweden Over Alleged Pension Fraud

Law360, London (April 2, 2019, 6:55 PM BST) -- Three individuals are fighting extradition to Sweden from the U.K over an alleged Swedish pension fraud, claiming at a hearing at London’s High Court on Tuesday that they should be allowed to appeal a European arrest warrant issued by the Swedish Economic Crime Authority.

British nationals Anthony Farrell and Christopher Thomas face extradition to Sweden along with a third individual, Afram Gergeo, under arrest warrants issued by Swedish prosecutors in connection with investigations into Falcon Funds, a pension that was once run from Malta.
