LCIA Handled Record Caseload Under Its Rules In 2018

Law360 (April 2, 2019, 10:03 PM EDT) -- The London Court of International Arbitration received nearly 275 disputes under its rules last year, tackling a record caseload that included a particularly notable jump in the number of banking and finance matters, according to a report released Monday.

The LCIA's referrals have been on the rise over the last 11 years, and 2018 was no exception, with the institution receiving 317 cases, including a record 271 under its rules, the report noted.
