Herbert Smith Nabs Disputes Boutique's Team In Madrid
Law360 (May 2, 2019, 5:13 PM EDT) -- The entirety of Spanish boutique Arias SLP's team, including its founding partner, will soon join Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, bolstering the firm's Madrid litigation and arbitration group with their extensive disputes experience.
David Arias will start at Herbert Smith as a partner on Tuesday, bringing his team from the disputes-focused boutique he founded in 2014. Coming with him are international arbitration attorney Luis Capiel, who is joining as of counsel, and three associates, according to a late April announcement.
Arias said in an April 26 statement that his team is very excited to join such a prestigious firm.
