United States, a divided panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit concluded last month that a class of young people lacked standing to require the federal government to develop a plan to fight climate change. The entire panel agreed that some of the plaintiffs had suffered an actual concrete injury due to climate change, and that there was a genuine question of fact over whether that injury could be linked to government policy.[1]...
