Wakabayashi appointed as new commissioner of Japanese antitrust agency

The 58-year-old former professor of economic law at Komazawa University Law School replaces Reiko Aoki, who retired on April 1, according to the Japan Fair Trade Commission. Wakabayashi joins three other commissioners to work with Chair Eiji Chatani to oversee the JFTC’s enforcement decisions and shape its policy direction.Statement is attached (in Japanese)....
