Global fire protection and suppression industry leader Kidde-Fenwal Inc. sought Chapter 11 protection in Delaware federal court, reporting more than $1 billion in potential liabilities tied to growing litigation over claims tied to a group of chemicals known as PFAS that are widely used in firefighting.
