Medtronic Hogs Surgical Market With Unfair Deals, Rival Says

Medical device behemoth Medtronic Inc. has created a monopoly for itself by illegally hindering competition in the market for surgical devices that use electrical current to cut tissue and seal blood vessels, its rival Applied Medical Resources alleged in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in California federal court.
