Admiral Insurance Co. dropped its coverage suit against Garza Regan & Associates PC in Maryland on Friday following a settlement in underlying litigation over the law firm's alleged failure to protect funds related to a real estate investment scheme.

Admiral Insurance Co. has asked a federal court to declare it has no duty to defend or indemnify Maryland law firm Garza Regan & Associates PC against Ivanhoe Investment Partners LP's lawsuit accusing the firm of failing to protect funds placed in an escrow account as part of a real estate investment scheme.
