Brookfield Properties Retail Inc., the property manager of a South Carolina mall, denied all claims that it is responsible for a woman's injuries in a 2022 shooting, saying the security company is to blame.

A South Carolina woman has joined other patrons in alleging shopping center owner Brookfield Properties and a security company were negligent and should be held responsible for injuries she suffered while running away from a shooting in a mall last year.
