A Minnesota federal judge on Friday granted Edwards Lifesciences Corp.'s motion for leave to depose television doctor Mehmet Oz in Medtronic Inc.'s suit over prosthetic heart valve patents, finding that Edwards had good cause to take his deposition after the fact-discovery cutoff.
