Health care contractor CGI Federal Inc. urged the Federal Circuit on Tuesday to gut a payment change to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' recovery audit contracts, deflecting the government's claims that CGI lacks standing as a prospective bidder to bring the challenge.

The United States on Monday told the Federal Circuit it should nix a contractor's challenge to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services' change to payment terms for recovery audit contracts, saying the lower court didn't have jurisdiction over the case in the first place.
