The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration cannot reinstate a pre-pandemic policy requiring covered hospitals' offsite facilities to register with the agency in order to access discounted drugs under the 340B program, a D.C. federal judge ruled.

A group of hospital systems sued an arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services over an "about-face" in requirements for offsite hospital facilities to qualify for a controversial drug discount program, telling a D.C. federal court the policy inflicts "enormous injury" on hospitals.
