The Federal Trade Commission will kick off an administrative trial on April 20 in the agency's complaint against the Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board after the Fifth Circuit rejected the state body's effort to block the proceeding.

The Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board on Monday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stay a Federal Trade Commission enforcement action over the board's fee rules after the Fifth Circuit refused to grant a similar pause in the FTC action.
