    9th Circ. Won't Let Zillow Duck Photo Studio's Copyright Win

    The Ninth Circuit has upheld a district judge's ruling that real estate company Zillow owes a photo studio individual damages for thousands of copyrighted photos that Zillow poached for a home renovation site, ruling that the protected works are not considered a "compilation" even though they were cumulatively registered under a group database.
