A real estate brokerage and agent settled their dispute with an AXA XL unit over whether they had coverage for an underlying negligence lawsuit brought by the buyer of a home they sold, a Maryland federal court said.

A Maryland real estate brokerage and an agent who were sued by a buyer who said they sold him a defective home are entitled to defense coverage for that action, they told a federal court, arguing an AXA XL unit can't rely on a property damage exclusion in an errors and omissions policy.
