U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito slammed his colleagues' refusal to wade into a disputeĀ over a Virginia high school's use of race in admissions decisions Tuesday, calling a Fourth Circuit decision upholding the policy "patently incorrect and dangerous" and the high court's willingness to let it stand "hard to understand."
