Liberty Life Assurance Co. of Boston asked the Eleventh Circuit on Thursday to sanction a woman and her counsel for seeking legal fees, saying the bid was frivolous and based on the same "stubborn insistence" that led her to pursue her failed benefits claims in the first place.
