John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh can't delay dismissal of its lawsuit seeking insurance coverage for its losses during pandemic-related closures, after a federal judge ruled that similar cases pending before the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania weren't enough to negate an earlier Third Circuit ruling in insurers' favor.

A Pennsylvania federal judge dismissed five suits Wednesday brought by Pittsburgh-area businesses seeking COVID-19 business interruption insurance coverage, including one from The Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania, after a precedential decision in the Third Circuit.
