   TEXT ORDER: The Court is in receipt of a request from defense counsel to adjourn the initial conference pending a decision on the State Defendant's motion to consolidate, stay, and extend their time to respond. (Dkt. No. 187 ). As this motion indicates there is significant overlap between Plaintiff's pending criminal and civil cases, and upon finding that holding discovery in abeyance pending resolution of the dispositive motions will promote judicial economy and conserve the litigants' resources, and for good cause shown, the initial conference is continued until further order.

   Unless the Court has decided Defendants' motions to dismiss, the parties shall file a joint status letter on 11/12/26 regarding the status of Plaintiff's pending criminal matters. Within five days of a decision on Defendants' motions, if appropriate, the parties shall file a joint letter requesting that the Court schedule a conference.
