Order for Party to File Document/Respond to Court
(Text-Only) ORDER FOR PARTY TO FILE DOCUMENT/RESPOND TO COURT. Plaintiff Natalie Mather has filed a Complaint which includes a request for a preliminary injunction. Although Ms. Mather, who is pro se, did not file a separate Motion for Preliminary Injunction, the Defendants have responded in opposition to the issuance of such an injunction. The Court appreciates their attentiveness in doing so. In order to get the propriety of a preliminary injunction resolved promptly, the Court gives Ms. Mather two weeks to file a memorandum and other supporting documents regarding her request for a preliminary injunction, although nothing prevents Ms. Mather from filing such materials sooner if she is able to do so. Following the receipt of that memorandum, the Court will treat the matter as fully briefed unless additional information is required. The Court will decide this matter on the papers, unless it determines that a hearing is necessary. Ordered by Judge Katherine M. Menendez on 5/7/2024. (KAT)
