CMS' Fight Against Damages Claims Kicks Off At London Court

Law360, London (February 1, 2019, 10:50 PM GMT) -- CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP faced down allegations of negligence in a London court on Friday as a trial to determine the extent of advice it gave over €3.5 million ($4 million) in investments into life science companies kicked off.

Alexander Mayr, an investment adviser who specializes in the pharmaceutical industry, is suing CMS in the High Court for damages he claims to have suffered due to the allegedly negligent advice said to have been given to him by Ted Cominos, the law firm’s former head of private equity, between 2010 and 2012.
