Law360, London (February 6, 2019, 9:19 PM GMT) -- The arraignment of a former Unaoil executive indicted by British prosecutors as part of a bribery case against the energy services company was postponed Wednesday.
Stephen Whiteley is charged with two counts of conspiracy to make corrupt payments to secure an Iraqi pipeline project contract for Unaoil Limited. The charges are part of a wider corruption case brought by the Serious Fraud Office against the Monaco-based energy consulting company.
Whiteley was scheduled to enter a plea to the charges on Wednesday in Southwark Crown Court, but Judge Jeffrey Pegden QC excused his attendance until April 23.
