Law360, London (February 11, 2019, 4:48 PM GMT) -- A London judge has dismissed a £9 million ($11.6) suit accusing Santander bank of reneging on a loan granted to the owner of a home care business in England, saying he had no hope of proving that the bank had withheld money.
High Court Judge Robert Walker said on Friday that a lower court should have ruled that Selvaratnam Balaratham had no prospect of winning a suit accusing Santander UK PLC of failing to advance money for a home care center development.
