9th Circ. Picks Leaving Lucrative Partnerships For Bench

Law360, Washington (March 19, 2019, 6:29 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump's choices for two Ninth Circuit vacancies are leaving lucrative partnerships at major law firms to join the appellate bench, according to financial disclosures released by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The two nominees from California, Jenner & Block LLP partner Kenneth Kiyul Lee and Munger Tolles & Olson LLP partner Daniel P. Collins, each pulled in close to $1 million a year from their law practices before being nominated for the bench, according to the Senate disclosures.
