NatWest Settles With Landlord Over Property Damage Fight

Law360, London (March 28, 2019, 5:33 PM GMT) -- National Westminster Bank has settled a dispute at a London court with a commercial landlord that had demanded nearly £1.6 million ($2 million) in damages over allegations that the lender allowed a rental property to fall into disrepair.

NatWest has agreed to pay £800,000 to Tripleteam (Developments) Ltd. following an argument about a property that the bank rented in the Midlands city of Nottingham between August 1999 and September 2015, Judge David Waksman said in an order issued at the High Court dated Monday.
