Police Agency Calls For Consistent Approach To Fraud

Law360, London (April 2, 2019, 5:23 PM BST) -- Authorities are failing to safeguard the public against fraud as these crimes do not "bang, bleed or shout," an independent police body said in a report published Tuesday, as it called for consistent policing across England and Wales against scams.

HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services, a public authority tasked with inspecting emergency forces, said that police are responding inconsistently to allegations of fraud.
