Pair Must Pay £1M Debt To UK Lender Before Selling Land

Law360, London (April 4, 2019, 1:15 PM BST) -- Two individuals who owe a lender £967,000 ($1.2 million) cannot sell or refinance a property in western England without first paying off the loan debt, a judge in London has ordered. 

High Court judge Jervis Kay placed a charging order last week against a two-story building in Herefordshire belonging to Marcus Lewis and Emma Lewis to secure a debt they owe to the lender, Century Capital Partners No. 1 Ltd.
