$1M Forex Dispute Should Stay In England, Trader Says

Law360, London (April 10, 2019, 8:11 PM BST) -- A businessman suing a foreign exchange firm over the guarantee of an outstanding $1 million has defended his choice to launch the case in England, filing new court documents that point to exclusive jurisdiction clauses in the underlying deal.

In a reply filed with the High Court on Monday, Naser Taher disputed Ikon Finance Ltd.'s contention that his suit against the firm over the missed payments should be paused as it belongs in Turkey and not London.
