Baker McKenzie Snags A&O Litigator In Latest London Poach

Law360, London (August 27, 2019, 9:43 PM BST) -- Baker McKenzie has brought on litigation partner Marc Florent from Allen & Overy to join its expanding financial services practice, with Florent becoming the fourth senior lawyer to leave the Magic Circle firm this year.

Florent will join Baker McKenzie's London office in its dispute resolution practice in early September, the firm said Tuesday.

With nearly three decades of experience, Florent is known for his banking and finance litigation practice, including asset management and funds, Baker McKenzie said. Poaching Florent is a key part of the firm's plan to expand its financial services practice, it added.
