Tesco Should Provide More Docs In $790M Suit, Investors Say

Law360, London (November 5, 2019, 6:28 PM GMT) -- Tesco should be forced to produce notes from an interview with one of its senior lawyers and other documents in a lawsuit brought by shareholders seeking hundreds of millions of pounds as a result of the grocery giant’s false accounting scandal, a London judge heard Tuesday.

Omers Administration Corp., a Canadian pension fund and one of two groups of investor claimants pursuing the litigation against the supermarket company, came to court on Tuesday seeking a court order requiring Tesco to produce the interview notes taken by its law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.
