Hospital Group NMC Health Uncovers $1.6B More Debt

Law360, London (March 25, 2020, 12:45 PM GMT) -- An internal investigation by NMC Health has uncovered a further $1.6 billion of undisclosed debt, the latest revelation from the troubled healthcare provider that earlier this month said it was being investigated by the Financial Conduct Authority for misreporting.

The FTSE 100 private hospitals group said in a filing with the London Stock Exchange on Monday that it has discovered another $1.6 billion of debt that had not been disclosed to the board, including $50 million of checks that could have benefited unnamed third parties.
