UK Floats Green Financial Disclosure Rules For Large Cos.

Law360, London (March 24, 2021, 2:56 PM GMT) -- The government set out world-leading proposals on Wednesday that will force large companies to report from 2022 the financial risks they are exposed to because of climate change.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy published a consultation on rules that make climate-related financial disclosures mandatory for listed companies, large private enterprises and limited liability partnerships. The rules will apply to businesses that have more than 500 employees.
