HomeServe Calls Meetings To Approve £4.1B Brookfield Bid

By Najiyya Budaly (June 16, 2022, 3:52 PM BST) -- HomeServe said Thursday that it will hold meetings next month so that shareholders can vote on Canada's Brookfield Infrastructure's plans to buy the U.K. house emergency repairs business for almost £4.1 billion ($5 billion).

HomeServe PLC, which sits in London's FTSE 250, said that it will hold a court meeting and general meeting on July 22 in Birmingham, in central England, for shareholders to decide on Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP's planned takeover.
