A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Thursday quashed traffic data company Wavetronix LLC's bid to go after the liquidating trustee for DBSI Inc. in a federal racketeering suit, finding that the defunct real estate investment firm's Chapter 11 plan barred the claims.

A traffic-data company that launched an Idaho action against DBSI Inc. officers asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge Tuesday for permission to add the bankrupt firm's liquidating trustee to the RICO suit so it can sue him in his court-appointed role.
