Via Technologies Says Asus Stole USB IP Through Ex-Exec
Via Technologies Inc. on Thursday expanded its legal fight with rival microprocessor maker Asustek Computer Inc. to the U.S., claiming in a lawsuit filed in California federal court that one of its former executives stole a bevy of valuable intellectual property covering USB 3.0 technology when he left for an Asus subsidiary.
