The Second Circuit on Wednesday rejected an attempt by jailed former Jenkens & Gilchrist PC lawyer Paul Daugerdas to overturn his conviction for allegedly orchestrating a $7 billion tax fraud scheme, saying there was simply "no merit" in his arguments on appeal.
