Standard Register Unsecured Creditors Blast $275M Sale Plan
The newly minted unsecured creditors committee in Standard Register Co.'s bankruptcy took aim late Monday at major secured creditor Silver Point Capital LP, arguing that more than $200 million of its debt might be subject to subordination and that the debtor's $275 million stalking horse sale plan is unfair.

Georgia-Pacific Wants Out Of $2M Debt To Standard Register
A Georgia-Pacific Corp. unit urged a Delaware bankruptcy judge Monday to lift the automatic stay protecting Standard Register Co. in Chapter 11 so the paper products giant can take care of the $2.2 million it owes Standard Register by subtracting the figure from the debtor's tab.

The U.S. Trustee's Office targeted on Wednesday the breakup fee in bankrupt Standard Register Co.'s proposed $275 million stalking horse sale to a group led by Silver Point Capital LP, arguing it ought to be nixed and the proposed expense reimbursement reduced more than fivefold.

Standard Register Gets Interim Nod For $155M DIP Package
A Delaware bankruptcy judge blessed Standard Register Co.'s $155 million debtor-in-possession financing package on a preliminary basis Friday, giving the printing and communications company access to much-needed liquidity as it moves forward with plans for a $275 million stalking horse sale.
