A trio of firms including Cohen Milstein accused rival firms vying to be lead plaintiffs' counsel in an antitrust suit against fragrance manufacturers of trying to "stuff the ballot box," saying a Lieff Cabraser declaration in support of the rivals is just the latest attempt to inappropriately place a finger on the scale.

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll LLP and Calcagni & Kanefsky PLLC are asking a New Jersey federal court to name them co-lead counsel and liaison counsel rather than a competing group in a proposed class action against an alleged cartel of fragrance manufacturers.

Global fragrance manufacturers Givaudan SA, International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., Symrise AG and Firmenich SA have been hit with a putative class action accusing them of conspiring to increase prices and reduce competition of fragrance products sold to U.S. retailers.
