    Ticketmaster Can't Shield Breach Probe In Snowflake MDL

    A Montana federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation over a data breach at cloud storage provider Snowflake ordered Ticketmaster, one of its affected clients, to turn over materials about its post-breach investigation and cybersecurity spending, while hitting the ticketing giant with $5,000 in sanctions for "discovery abuses" related to these requests.

    Snowflake, Clients Can't Escape MDL Over Cloud Data Breach

    Cloud storage provider Snowflake, along with its clients Ticketmaster and LendingTree, will continue to face sprawling multidistrict litigation over a data breach that hit Snowflake last year, after a Montana federal judge refused several bids to ax or force arbitration of negligence and other claims brought by a wide range of consumers who were impacted by the incident.

    LendingTree Faces Consumer Claims Over Snowflake Breach

    Online consumer lending platform LendingTree and an insurance comparison subsidiary are facing a proposed consumer class action based on a data breach of their cloud storage service, which affected personal information for "hundreds of millions of consumers."
