Rule 16 Conference
MINUTES of Proceedings: Rule 16 Conference held before Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman by telephone on 8/19/2026. ORDER SETTING the following case management schedule: Parties are to seek leave to amend pleadings or add any additional parties or claims by 1/14/2027. Fact discovery is to be completed by 4/14/2027. Joint Alternate Dispute Resolution Report is due by 4/14/2027. Fact discovery motions are to be filed by 5/14/2027. Expert discovery to be completed by 6/14/2027. Expert discovery motions are to be filed by 7/14/2027. If no expert motions are filed, dispositive motions will be due by 8/13/2027. If expert motions are filed, dispositive motions will be due 30 days after resolution of expert motions. ORDER: Striking Pretrial Order deadline. The Court advises the parties that they must schedule a telephone conference with Judge Beckerman before filing any discovery motion. If a discovery dispute arises, the party requesting relief should e-mail a summary of the dispute to SBpropdoc@ord.uscourts.gov. Chey Powelson present as counsel for plaintiff. Alexander H. 1 - Scheduling
SCHEDULING ORDER: Setting a Rule 16 Conference for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 1:30 PM by telephone. (Conference call information to follow by separate sealed entry.) Local Rules 16-2(b) and 26-1 require that counsel confer before the conference. At the conference, counsel should be prepared to discuss the status of the case, relevant dates and deadlines, and any other significant issues. If the parties plan to present a proposed schedule, they should e-mail the schedule to giselle_williams@ord.uscourts.gov, by noon on August 18, 2026. Ordered by Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman.
