2 - Minute Order ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines
MINUTE ORDER: At a status hearing on June 12, 2026, the Parties informed the Court that they would confer to discuss staying all pre-trial case deadlines to participate in mediation. (See Dkt. No. 30 .) The Court ordered the Parties to submit a joint status report by August 19, 2026, identifying whether the Court should enter a case schedule or a stay, and if not, to propose various pre-trial deadlines for this matter to proceed. (Id.) On August 19, the Parties submitted their joint status report and requested an additional 30 days to continue conferring to "determine if mediation is viable[.]" (Dkt. No. 31 .)The Court will GRANT the Parties' request for an additional 30 days to discuss the possibility of mediation. The Parties SHALL provide a new joint status report on or before September 24, 2026, that outlines whether the Parties will request to stay all pre-trial case deadlines pursuant to an agreement to participate in mediation. And, if the Parties do not intend to participate in mediation, the joint status report shall propose (1) deadlines for disclosing expert witnesses and rebuttal expert witnesses; (2) a deadline for the motion for class certification; and (3) a briefing schedule for the motion for class certification.
