Text Order ~Util - Set Hearings
TEXT ORDER: The Court will issue its decision as to Plaintiff and Individual State Defendants' discovery disputes, raised within their joint letter at Dkt. No. 576 , in due course. In the meantime, the Court expects the parties to continue to expeditiously engage in and complete all outstanding discovery without delay. Should the parties have discovery disputes with each other, they shall exhaust the meet and confer process before raising those issues before the Court. In addition, should the parties wish to raise a dispute, it shall be presented in accordance with the format specified within the Court's Case Management Orderr. An in-person status conference is scheduled for October 8, 2026 at 11:00 am. Counsel shall appear in person at the Martin Luther King Building & U.S. Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Courtroom 4(d), Newark, New Jersey. No later than October 1, 2026, the parties shall file a joint letter not to exceed five (5) pages summarizing the status of the case. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Jose R. Almonte on 8/11/2026.
