MINUTE entry before the Honorable Beth W. Jantz: The Court has reviewed the parties' Joint Status Report (Dkt. 150 ). Consistent with the Court's order, the parties report that deposition notices have been served, that they are meeting and conferring about Defendants' objections to the Rule 30(b)(6) notice(s), and that they have scheduled the deposition of Plaintiff Toni Kukoc and non-party Renata Kukoc. However, the parties report that the 30(b)(6) depositions of Defendants BSI and EFG have not been set for a location or date certain, about which they should continue to meet and confer. The parties report that Plaintiff has identified one witness (Paolo Zola) for a deposition through Hague Convention procedures, and that they are meeting and conferring about Defendants' objections to Plaintiff's pending motion for a Hague Convention letter of request. Accordingly, Plaintiff's Motion to Execute Hague Convention Letter of Request Form to Depose Swiss Resident (Dkt. 148 ) is DENIED without prejudice to allow the parties to continue meeting and conferring. The parties are reminded that Local Rule 37.2 requires that a meet and confer conference take place (by telephone, video, or face-to-face) before filing any discovery motion. Any subsequent motion(s) must certify that the parties met and conferred and also state whether the motion (or specific parts of the motion) are agreed or opposed. Plaintiff also reports that he may identify and seek depositions of other witnesses through the Hague Convention procedures. A telephonic status hearing i set for 8/24/26 at 10:15 am, for the parties to address depositions progress and a proposed fact discovery deadline.] Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court-issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court. Mailed notice. (as, ) (Entered: 06/29/2026)
