MINUTE ORDER ON JULY 30, 2026, INITIAL PRETRIAL CONFERENCE - Plaintiff appeared in person and Defendants appeared by counsel July 30, 2026, for a telephonic initial pretrial conference. The parties submitted proposed Case Management Plans, but the Court declines to approve either one. On balance, the Court in its discretion denies the proposed CMPs [Filing Nos. 41 , 42 ], declines to impose CMP deadlines, and stays discovery pending rulings on the pending motions to dismiss. The Court also explored settlement with the parties. Given the parties' settlement positions, it does not appear that a Court-supervised settlement conference would be productive at this time.
