MINUTE ORDER made by direction of the Court, the Honorable Thomas S. Zilly, United States District Judge: (1) Plaintiff/counterclaim defendant Group14 Technologies, Inc.'s motion, docket no. 180 , to exclude the testimony of defendant/counterclaimant Nexeon Limited's expert Neil Beaton, is DEFERRED and RENOTED to 9/4/2026. Beaton has provided three different, alternative analyses concerning Nexeon's alleged damages for Group14's allegedly tortious interference with Nexeon's contracts and/or prospective contractual relations. The parties are DIRECTED to file, by 9/4/2026, supplemental briefs, not to exceed twelve (12) pages in length, concerning whether the types of damages computed by Beaton are recognized in Washington as compensable for tortious interference with a contract or business expectancy. Washington courts have adopted the measure of damages for interference with contracts or prospective contractual relations that is set forth in the Restatement. (CJS)

2 - Minute Order ~Util - Terminate Motions ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines/Hearings
MINUTE ORDER made by direction of the Court, the Honorable Thomas S. Zilly, United States District Judge:
(1) Plaintiff's placeholder motion to seal, docket no. 178 , which is supported by defendant's response, docket no. 184 , is GRANTED, and the unredacted version of defendant's expert's report, docket no. 182 , shall remain under seal. A redacted version of the expert report of Neil J. Beaton dated June 25, 2026, is attached to the Declaration of Mark P. Walters, docket no. 185 . The Clerk is DIRECTED to modify the docket entry text relating to the Walters declaration to reflect that a redacted version of the expert report is attached and to link the declaration to the unredacted sealed version of the expert report.
(2) In response to the Minute Order entered August 15, 2024, docket no. 132 , the parties advised that certain documents could be unsealed. See Joint Submission (docket no. 133 ). The Clerk is DIRECTED to unseal the redacted versions of Exhibits 8, 33, 35, and 36, to the Declaration of Adam Gershenson, docket nos. 104 -1, 102 -1, 102 -4, and 102 -6.
(3) The parties' stipulated motion for extension, docket no. 189 , is GRANTED, and the deadline for filing discovery motions is EXTENDED to Friday, August 28, 2026. Pursuant to the parties' agreement, any future discovery motion shall be filed using the procedure set forth in Local Civil Rule 37(a)(2). All other dates and deadlines set forth in the Minute Order entered January 8, 2026, docket no. 165 , as amended by the Minute Order entered June 2, 2026, docket no. 177 , shall remain in full force and effect.
