Minute Order Order on Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Elayna J. Youchah on 7/8/2026. By Law Clerk: S. Gorba.
Before the Court is the parties' Proposed Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order (ECF No. 51 ) which sets forth competing positions on discovery. Plaintiff is seeking an initial discovery period of one year while Defendants submit they will be filing a Motion to Stay Discovery in the near future. Based on the representations, the Court denies the Proposed Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order, pending resolution of Defendants' forthcoming Motion to Stay Discovery. Additionally, the Court notes the Proposed Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order is not compliant with LR IA 10-1 which requires lines of text to "be numbered consecutively beginning with 1 on the left margin of each page."
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Proposed Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order (ECF No. 51 ) is DENIED without prejudice.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Defendants' must submit their Motion to Stay Discovery no later than July 22, 2026.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the parties must review the Courts local rules to ensure that future filings are compliant.
