Order of Discontinuance
ORDER OF DISCONTINUANCE: The parties have informed the Court that they are moving forward on their Stipulation of Settlement and have requested a renewal of the stay in this matter until April 30, 2014. It is hereby ordered that this case is discontinued without costs to any party and without prejudice to restoring the action to this Court's calendar if the application to restore the action is made by April 30, 2014. (Signed by Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on 11/25/2013) (djc)
Order on Motion to Stay
ORDER: granting 6 Motion to Stay. The Court has received the parties' letter, dated September 30, 2013, advising the Court that the parties have reached an agreement in principle on the structure of a global settlement of the actions pending before this Court and the Supreme Court of the State of New York, to be heard by Justice Jeffrey K. Oing of New York Supreme Court. The Court therefore stays this action until December 2, 2013. If the settlement has not concluded by then, the parties may apply to renew the stay. The parties are directed to inform the Court by joint letter, due November 25, 2013, of the status of the case and whether there is a need for extension of the stay. (Signed by Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on 10/1/2013) (djc) Modified on 10/1/2013 (djc).
