Deutsche Bank Handed Win Over Libor Loan Row

Law360, London (April 15, 2019, 5:58 PM BST) -- A London judge brought an eight-year dispute involving Deutsche Bank AG and nine other banks to a close on Monday, ruling the Indian property developer they were suing owes them $314 million after its defense citing the lender's alleged Libor manipulation had failed.

There was insufficient evidence to support claims that Deutsche had wrongly depicted the suitability of an $11 million interest rate swap at the heart of the suit, the judge said at the High Court.
