MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: On review of the status report, R. 812, the claims administrator has begun to issue deficiency letters on a rolling basis. The administrator believes that the substantial majority of individual-consumer claims are fraudulent and will be denied without deficiency letters. It will take around 8 to 12 weeks to issue the deficiency letters and receive responses, ending around 12/03/2026. Then the administrator will take another 2 to 3 weeks to complete the audit and submit a distribution declaration to the Court (around the end of 12/2026) for approval. The tracking status hearing of 09/18/2026 is reset to 10/30/2026 at 8:30 a.m., but to track the case only (no appearance is required, the case will not be called).
